Mission Hospital
History
In 1998 a Free Medical Clinic was opened in India to address the health and spiritual needs of the poor people in India. In 2002, a one-story hospital was built in the city of Rajahmundry. Since then, the hospital has been expanded to a 3-story, 70-bed hospital. The hospital is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In November 2003, the Andhra Pradesh State Government awarded the hospital the title of Best Free Medical Hospital in three districts of the state (population more than 25 million). In addition to the hospital, two satellite medical clinics are in operation. Also, Medical Camps are conducted in the poor villages on a weekly basis.
