Literature Needs
The Telugu literature now being printed satisfies only a small percentage of the needs. At present, there are two people that work in the printing area. The goal is to keep the printing press running 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. The capacity of the printing press is 48,000 sheets per day. For $800 a month, the press can be in operation 40 hours a week.
Bibles
Bibles are needed for the new congregations and new believers. The cost of a Bible in the Telugu language is $1.50.
Literacy Rates
Literacy rates in India are steadily increasing, especially in the cities. Thus the literature and Bibles are an important part of our expanding ministry. However, only a portion of the need for Bibles is presently being met.
New believers will continually beg for Bibles and they are distributed when finances are available.
