Support for Pastors
Most pastors are very poor and work with only a minimal wage paid by the church they serve. It is not uncommon for a pastor to go 2 or 3 days without food. Support for 90 pastors is needed. The support is $30/month for each pastor, which covers the basic necessities of a pastor and his family.
Bicycles, Lamps and Drums
Pastors may walk many miles a day in serving their churches or in doing evangelistic work. Only about 30% of the pastors have bicycles. The lamps are used in the villages for light at night and the drums are used during the services in the singing of hymns. The cost of a bicycle, lamp and drum is $95. The cost of a bicycle alone is $65.
